Welcome to Stock Tracker ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our mobile application Stock Tracker (the "App"). By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

• Device information: model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID).
• Usage information: how you interact with the App, feature usage, crashes and diagnostics, timestamps.

• Log data: IP address, app version, referral source, and other diagnostic data.

• Providing, operating and maintaining the App.

3. Advertising & Third-Party Services

We display ads in the App using third-party advertising partners. Currently, we integrate with:

• Google AdMob (Google LLC)

Google AdMob may collect information about your device and app usage (including advertising identifiers) to provide personalized ads and measure ad performance. We do not control the privacy practices of Google AdMob. Please review their privacy policy for details and opt-out options.

4. Analytics

We may use analytics providers (for example Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how the App is used and to improve it. Analytics services collect information such as events, screen views, and engagement metrics. These services generally use cookies or advertising identifiers and have their own privacy policies.

5. Permissions

To provide core functionality, the App may request certain permissions from your device (for example: storage access to save downloaded files). You can choose whether to grant those permissions; if you deny a permission the related feature may not work.

6. Downloaded Content

When you download media using the App, the downloaded files are stored locally on your device. We do not claim ownership of any user-downloaded content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to download and use content in accordance with applicable laws and the terms of any third-party services (e.g., social platforms) from which the content originates.

7. Cookies & Similar Technologies

The App and third parties may use cookies, local storage, or advertising identifiers to collect information and provide a better user experience, including for serving ads. On mobile devices, advertising identifiers are used instead of browser cookies.

8. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We may share information with:

• Service providers and partners (e.g., ad networks, analytics providers) who perform services on our behalf.
• Law enforcement, regulators, or other third parties if required by law or to protect rights or safety.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes (for example to improve features and ensure security). When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable laws.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us to request deletion.

12. Your Rights & Choices

• Ad personalization opt-out: You can opt out of interest-based ads by adjusting your device ad settings (e.g., Google settings or iOS Limit Ad Tracking).
• European users (GDPR): You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You may request information about categories of personal data collected, request deletion, and opt-out of sale/sharing of personal information where applicable.

The App may contain links to third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies separately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the App and update the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
